I want YOU to look at this blog!
Hey everybody! It’s been a while since I’ve sat down to write in my blog, but I’ve been really busy lately. Since we last spoke, I’ve graduated from sweet potatoes to oatmeal, rice cereal, bananas, peas, carrots, pears, and avocadoes! So far, I would say that my favorite food is pears, but I love carrots too! Needless to say, I am now Sam’s new best friend, thanks to a little-known secret that Corgis also love carrots! I always make sure to throw a few mushy globs on the ground for him to “clean up”.
So I went down to Springfield for Thanksgiving to visit dad’s side of the family. I had a great time visiting with everybody. We hung out for a couple days and had a few good photo ops:
This is me with my great-great-grandma Pat. We got to hang out for the first time.
And this is me with four other generations of Mulrooney: dad, grandpa, great grandma, and great-great-grandma.
After Thanksgiving we came home so dad could go back to work. He must love going to work because he does it all the time! While he was gone, mom and I worked on my next important developmental milestone: CRAWLING.
Mom and dad have a bet on when I will crawl. Mom wins if I crawl BEFORE Christmas, and dad wins if I crawl AFTER Christmas. As of today, it looks like mom is winning, but we’ll have to see. Right now, I can pretty much “scoot” to wherever I need to go (I have a pretty tight schedule to keep}, but dad is quick to point out that does NOT count as crawling.
Speaking of Christmas, I got to visit Santa for the first time. I wasn't too sure about him as you can see. However, I tried to act very sweet to show him that I have been a good girl all 1/2 year. Also, we got a Christmas tree that is just my size!
Here are a few other pictures we’ve taken over the last several weeks. I feel very vain posting all these photos of myself, but mom has assured me it’s what the people want. I hope everybody is wrapping up their work for the year and looking forward to a relaxing holiday. I will be in Ouray with Lewlew and Pappie, while mom and dad “hit the slopes”. Whatever that means.
